Hamilton model 22 ships chronometer, circa 1941. Dial marked HAMILTON WATCH CO., LANCASTER, PA., USA. Reverse marked MTD BUREAU OF SHIPS, U.S. NAVY 9422-1941. Mounted onto a chip carved wooden stand, most likely not original. Chronometer measures 3 1/4" dia. Stand measures: 7 3/4" H x 6 3/4" D x 4" W. Provenance – The Estate of Eddie Jack Miller, Johnson City, TN. Condition: Chronometer not tested for functionality. General wear to chip carved stand.
