Two (2) Sulton Rogers (Mississippi, 1922-2003) carved and painted wood figures, including one depicting a woman wearing a low cut red dress and red high-heeled shoes; the other depicting a bald man wearing a black suit. Unsigned. 21 1/2" H and 16 1/4" H. 20th century. Provenance: Private Nashville, TN collection. CONDITION: Both with minor abrasions, a couple of areas of paint loss. Some scattered white spots on male figure.
