Two (2) Joseph Day Knap (New York, 1875-1962) watercolor on paper landscape paintings with ducks including one (1) titled "Winter Bluebills" depicting five (5) bluebill ducks and one (1), untitled depicting female mallards taking flight. Both feature marshy landscape backgrounds under a cloudy sky. Both signed J.D. Knap in lower corners. One with Abercrombie & Fitch Co, New York Sporting Books, Prints & Paintings label en verso, with title. Both housed and matted in contemporary wood frames under glass. Sights: 10 1/2" H x 13 1/2" W. Frames: 19 1/4" H x 21 1/4" W.
CONDITION: 1st item with toning to lower center, 1" L. 2nd item with moderate overall toning. Not examined outside of frame.
