1st item: French Empire Portico clock having ebonized body on bun feet with gilt metal mounted swag frieze, columns, swan pendulum and base. Back of works marked "FC". Clock face with scarce remnants of Roman numerals. 19 3/4" H x 9 1/2" W x 6" D. 19th century. 2nd item: French figural gilt spelter and alabaster clock with male and female peasants standing atop a gilt metal mounted alabaster base. Clock face marked "Paris Giloteau and "?? Le Chateau"" with black Roman numerals. 15 1/2" H x 14" W x 5 1/4" D. Both clocks 19th century. Condition: 1st item: Considerable wear to clock face. General wear to case. Possible repaint to some of the gilt mounts. 2nd item: Wear to clock face and overall general wear to gilt. Neither clock tested for functionality.
