Two pieces in Reed and Barton's Francis I pattern. 1st item: Sterling silver tray or sandwich platter, round with shaped sizes and cast fruit and floral decoration, marked on base Reed & Barton Francis I x569 Sterling, 11-1/8" diameter, 17.64 oz troy. 2nd item: Soup ladle with oval bowl, old Reed and Barton mark with patent date of '07 on back, 11"L, 8.01 oz troy. Provenance: the estate of Sara Lee Buhler, Yorktown, Indiana. Condition: 1st item: Excellent condition with one pinpoint dent and a couple of light scratches. 2nd item: Some flat surface areas near decorative elements of ladle show minute cracks or fissures under magnification, couple of small light dents to bowl.
