Pair of large bronze mounted French porcelain covered urns with cobalt backgrounds, the centers with handpainted decoration of landscapes to one side and seated courting figures on the other, signed L. Bertren. Underside of lids with blue Sevres style marks. 24 1/4″ H x 14 1/8″ W. Late 19th century. Provenance: Crossville, TN collection.
