Franz Xavier Bergmann (1861-1936) cold painted bronze, "Sacrifice of Cleopatra", depicting a partially nude Cleopatra reclining on a chaise lounge, holding a snake near her left breast. Incised on the back of the chaise lounge "Nam Greb" with an urn insignia and "B" within. 7" H x 9 1/2" W x 4 3/4" D. Early 20th century. Condition: Overall very good condtion. Some wear to patinated surface of face, shoulder, skirt, leg, and corners of chaise.
