Group of Early Brass Candlesticks, 3 items total. 1st-2nd items: Circa 1740 pair of English brass candlesticks, seamed construction, with cartouche shaped bases, 8 1/4" H. 3rd item: Early hogscraper or push-up brass candlestick, also probably English, having seamed construction, a lobed base and integral nozzle, 7 1/8" H. Provenance: The estate of Dr. Benjamin H. Caldwell, Nashville, Tennessee. CONDITION: 1st-2nd items: Candlesticks lack nozzles. 3rd item: Hogscraper candlestick knob does not go all the way down.
