18K yellow gold English pocket aneroid barometer and altimeter with compass cover. Comprised of a cover with compass needle and bezel with directional markers, a silvered dial marked with barometric range from 23-31 inches of mercury, meteorological headings "Rain," "Change," "Fair", altimeter readings and an open center revealing the works. Back of case with engraved initials. Marked on the inside edge of the compass cover "B & S, Q and 18". Approx. 1 1 /4" dia. Late 19th century.
CONDITION: Case with expected wear, light scratching and dings. Barometer functioning at time of inspection.
