English, mid-19th c. 2nd item: Rosewood and brass campaign medicine chest with hinged lift top to storage compartment and single fitted drawer below, 9" H x 10-5/8" W x 7-3/4" D. English, mid-19th c. 3rd item: Vintage Kennedy metal strongbox with key, in style of domed chest, marked "Made by Kennedy Mfg Co., Van Wert, Ohio, Patent Pending, 4-1/2" H x 10-1/4" W x 6" D. 4th item: Child's ladderback armchair, stained red maple, turned arms and finials, footrest, 26-3/4" H x 14-1/2" W x 10-3/" D, American, early 19th century. Provenance: The estate of Jean A. Yeatman and Harry C. Yeatman, formerly of Hamilton Place Plantation (near Columbia, Tennessee). CONDITION: 1st item: Fading to surface and minor staining to interior. Inkwells missing. 2nd item: 1" x 1" old loss on back. Interior dividers absent. 3rd item: Minor rust. 4th item: Top splat is loose. Small loss (1/4") on one turn on left arm.
