1st item: American Hepplewhite form work table with canted legs and sides, cherry primary, pine secondary. Rectangular overhanging top over one dovetailed drawer with wooden pull and splayed legs. 27 3/4" H x 17" W x 21 1/2" D. Early 19th century. 2nd item: American walnut birdcage candlestand, circular fixed top above birdcage support, over a turned ring and baluster standard transitioning to a tripod base. 24 3/4" H x 22" Dia. Early 19th century. Provenance: The estate of Christine Rehnke, Nashville, Tennessee. CONDITION: 1st item: Losses to finish to top, along with scratching and some water stains. Two old patch repairs to top. Age crack to top of right front leg. Wear to tips of legs. 2nd item: Older refinish. Battens underneath top possibly replaced. Wear to feet.
