A French gilt and patinated bronze figural mantel clock, movement by Jn. Legrand and inscription, "De Galasse & Cie a St. Pierre Martinique" under the bell. Depicting three figures standing on a rocky ledge with waves breaking below. The plinth base with foliate scrolled feet and a center shell. 23 1/2"H x 18 1/2"W x 5 1/4"D. Late 19th century. Provenance: Estate of Bill Zarnon, Gatlinburg, Tenn Condition: Left arm missing of central male figure, darkening of gilding to crevices of figures on reverse side, plinth base with some wear to gilding, pendulum not present, works not tested for functionality.
