Assembled grouping of five (5) Native American Cherokee and Appalachian white oak baskets, all with alternating walnut and blood dyed weavers, including, two (2) lidded buttocks baskets with handles, one (1) shopping basket, one (1) small rectangular carrying basket with handle, and one (1) footed oval carrying basket with handle. Ranging in size from 5" H x 5 3/4" W x 5 1/4" D to 10 1/4" H x 12 W x 10 1/4" D. All 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Bristol, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: All in overall very good condition. Rectangular basket and both lidded buttocks baskets with fading to dyed weavers. Largest buttocks with one pin loss to one side of one lid, smallest buttocks basket with a couple of slight weaver losses to the base.
