Schedler's "Prize Medal Paris Exposition 1867" 9-inch terrestrial tabletop globe, copyrighted 1890, published in Jersey City, NJ, housed in fully calibrated meridian ring with hour circles at North and South poles, set into an iron equatorial bandstand with printed calibration, compass directions, zodiac seasons, and months all upon an iron stretcher and three turned wooden legs. 14 3/4" H x 13" dia.
PROVENANCE: Private West Tennessee Collection.
CONDITION: Toning and discoloration to paper. Scattered wear and losses to printing commensurate with age, primarily to equator. Scattered losses to paper, primarily to south pole, largest measuring 1 1/8" x 2". Stand with minor oxidation and surface wear commensurate with age.
