Group of 3 Coin Silver Mugs, all with engine turned decoration to bodies and central cartouches. Large mugs (3 3/4" H) are marked Gorham Coin and monogrammed EGS and EC, smaller mug (2 3/4" H) has retailer mark for James Watson (Philadelphia) and pseudohallmarks and is monogrammed EDITH FROM ODS 1867. 16.29 oz troy combined weight. American, circa 1860s. Provenance: Private Nashville collection, descended in the family of Confederate General Benjamin Franklin Cheatham. Condition: Larger mugs in excellent condition.
