Two (2) Cherokee rivercane baskets including one (1) waste basket form having chain and zig zag designs with bloodroot and walnut dyed weavers and one (1) rectangular carrying basket with central fixed handle and diagonal bands of dyed walnut and bloodroot decoration. 13 1/4" H x approx. 10" W and 12 1/2" H x 12 1/2" W x 7 3/4" D. First half of the 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Hawkins County, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: Waste basket with breaks to two corners otherwise overall very good condition. Carrying basket with minor errant red marks to interior, otherwise overall very good condition.
