Grouping of three (3) Cherokee rivercane baskets including: one (1) small round form basket with square base and Chief's daughter design with dyed walnut and bloodroot weavers; one (1) round form basket with square base and arrowpoint or fishbone pattern with dyed walnut and bloodroot weavers; and one (1) round low form basket with dyed walnut and bloodroot weavers in Eye of the Sacred Bird pattern. Ranging in size from 4 1/2" H x 9" square to 11 3/8" H x 11 1/4" W x 10" D. First half of the 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Hawkins County, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: Low basket with minor losses along the base edges. Small round basket with wear and light staining to the interior. Largest basket with errant red stain to the interior, otherwise overall very good condition.
