Six 19th century American folk art items. 1st item: Mid-19th century theorem, watercolor on paper, hand detailed and stenciled, depicting compote of fruit. Frame: 16-1/2" H x 14-1/2" W, sight: 11-1/4" H x 11" W. 2nd item: Mid-19th c. stained pine candle box with one drawer, one lidded compartment and 2 iron hangers, 9" H x 16" W x 10" D. 3rd item: Late 19th c. double-sided painted pine chessboard with incised lines and painted trim, metal ring probably added later, 16" H x 25" W x 1-1/2" D. 4th item: Late 19th c. painted tin sheet metal rooster on stand (peg to stand broken), rooster: 12-3/4" H, with stand: 24" H. 5th and 6th items: Mid-19th c. Iron trammel candle holder with heart motif (22-3/4" H) and iron kitchen tool (8-1/4" H). Condition: 1st item: Minor toning to paper. Overall very good condition. 2nd item: Overall very good condition with some surface scratches. 3rd item: Slight warpage and some paint loss. 4th item: Support broken. Some paint loss on rooster. 5th and 6th items: Overall good condition with minor areas of rust.
