Group of six (6) Catawba Native American pottery forms including two (2) revival forms: one (1) jar with Chief effigy head handles (7 3/4" H) and one (1) vase form with ruffled rim (7 1/2" H), plus one (1) wedding jar form, one (1) ashtray with pitcher to the center, one (1) ewer, and one (1) vase with incised flowering branch designs. Mid 20th century. Provenance: Nancy Walton Collection, Gatlinburg, TN. CONDITION: Effigy jar with chip to rim, scattered minute chipping to effigy handles. Vase with chipping to rim, firing flaws/abrasions to glaze of body. Chip to base of ashtray, remaining pieces overall very good condition.
