Grouping of 6 painted metal Key signs. 1st item – large iron sheet key trade sign in green paint with words, "Keys Made" (both sides). Appears to retain two original hanging loops. 24-7/8" length. Late 19th/early 20th century. 2nd item – large iron sheet key trade sign in yellow paint with black letters, "Welcome" (both sides). 31-1/8" length. Early 20th century. Retains six early hanging loops – 3 each side. 3rd – 6th items – Cast iron crossed keys "MERRY XMAS HAPPY NEW YEAR 1897 1898", black painted aluminum key "June 1928 TO LOUISVILLE", gold painted cast metal key "Worlds Fair Chicago 1934", and gold painted themometer key "Key to Hot Springs Ark. Pat Aug. 25 1925". Early 20th century. Condition: 1st item – old paint loss and oxidation, expecially "A" letter on "MADE" for one side of key. 2nd item – paint loss and oxidation, more on key handle. 3rd – 6th items – loss to black paint on Louisville key, expected wear.
