Two (2) signed Tonita Martinez Roybal (1892-1945) San Ildefonso black on black pottery jars including one (1) small jar with tapered shoulder and curving geometric design to the shoulder, signed "Tonita & Juan" on the base and one (1) larger jar with batwing and kiva step decoration to the upper shoulder, signed "Tonita" on the base. 3 1/4" H x 4 3/4" dia. and 4 1/2" H x 8 1/2" dia. Both pieces Early 20th century. Provenance: Brad Swanson Collection, Abingdon, VA. CONDITION: Both jars overall good condition, light scattered abrasions to the body.
