Two (2) Alvar Sunol Munoz-Ramos (Spain/France, b. 1935) bronze sculptures. 1st item: "La Paloma" ("The Dove"), depicting a woman with gilt face and hands gazing at a gilt dove resting upon the palm of her uplifted right hand and reaching her left arm overhead. Mounted on a two-tiered, black alluminum plinth base. Signed "Alvar" at lower edge. 9 5/8" H x 10" W x 7 1/8" D. 2nd item: "Mother and Bird", depicting a woman with her gaze slightly downcast holding a bird perched upon the back of her right hand lifted up by her ear. Mounted on a black, square wooden base. Signed and numbered "28/300 Alvar" at lower edge. 8 1/2" H x 5 5/8" W x 6 1/8" D.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Carl Klein, Brentwood, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Both items in overall very good condition with slight scattered wear to bases. Mother and Bird slightly loose on its base.
