Coin silver sugar urn, double marked E. Kinsey in rectangles (Edward Kinsey, b. 1810-d. 1865, working Newport, Kentucky and Cincinnati, Ohio 1834-1861) tobacco bud finial atop a round lid with four acanthus chased reserves; the circular body with bands of bead and dart decoration at upper rim, foot ring, and shoulder, two handles with clamshell decorations at each terminus, and spiral banding at mid-shaft over a stepped circular base. Hammered construction. 10-3/4"H, 35.08 oz troy. Provenance: Private Arkansas Collection. Condition: Excellent condition, no monograms or monogram removals apparent.
