Eight (8) assorted Asian carved figures, including: one (1) Chinese bronze figural foo dog with fitted hardwood stand; one (1) Chinese bronze seal with foo dog finial; two (2) Chinese hardstone seals with foo dog finials; one (1) Asian carved and inked bone figure depicting an Immortal with a baby and monkeys, with chop marks to the base; one (1) Chinese hardstone dish in the form of a lotus leaf; one (1) Chinese carved hardstone figure depicting a pyramid of monkeys; and one (1) Chinese glazed figural ceramic covered box in the form of a foo dog. Ranging in size from 2 5/8" H x 1 1/2" W to 5 3/8" H x 2" W. Ranging in age from late 19th to mid 20th century. 9th -10th items: Two (2) Chinese carved rose quartz sculptures, one with "jeweled" bronze stand. Includes one (1) Guanyin figurine depicting the goddess in flowing robe and holding a flowering branch (7" H x 3 1/4" W x 2" D); and one (1) Hawk figurine depicted with a lingzhi in its mouth and perched on a naturalistic base, mounted to a bronze stand with foliate decoration and three inset oval cabachons including two (2) green malachite stones and one (1) red carnelian (7 3/4" H x 3 3/4" W x 5" D overall).
PROVENANCE: Private Williamson County, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: 1st-8th items: Lotus leaf dish with some scattered minute chips and wear, remaining pieces overall good condition. 9th-10th items: Both items in overall good condition with natural fissures. Guanyin with repaired breaks to head, left shoulder, and 2 1/4" section to right side of robe, 1/2" area of loss to back of robe. Hawk with repaired break to back of base, wooden part of stand with two missing legs, bronze part of stand with 1/4" drill hole to one side. Stand is attached, not removable.
