Grouping of two (2) carved and painted canvasback drake duck decoys, Virginia, possibly Doug Jester, including one oversized with a slightly turned head and carved bill and one with carved head and eye. 8″ H x 16 1/4″ L & 7″ H x 14 1/2″ L. Both 1st half 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Knoxville, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: Large duck with overall general wear, paint likely retouched. Smaller duck with repair to head and retouched painted surface.
