Continental carved hardwood stand or low table, possibly walnut, with cream, grey and black marble inset top. Carved opposing shell frieze with rope carved edges. Cabriole legs with acanthus carved knees, ending in acanthus and scroll foot feet, joined by carved laurel swags at the top of the legs and shaped stretchers converging to a central point with an acorn type finial. 20 3/4" H x approx. 19" dia. Late 19th/Early 20th century. CONDITION: Overall very good condition with general expected wear.
