Old Sheffield Plate (silver on copper) inkwell stand with gothic arched glass bottles flanking a diminutive chamberstick capping a compartment for sealing wax, on a cartouche shaped base ending in shell feet. Double Sun mark attributed to Matthew Boulton. 5"h x 11"w x 6"d. English, circa 1820. Provenance: the estate of Margaret Wemyss Connor, Nashville, Tennessee. Condition: Excellent condition, possibly replated. Bottles appear original.
