Five (5) Inuit carved soapstone and bone figures, including one (1) Bryon Amos (Alaska, 20th/21st Century) black soapstone carving depicting a standing, hooded figure, signed and dated "B. Amos 1991" to underside of one foot, Canada Eskimo Art sticker to underside of other foot; one (1) bone carving depicting an anamorphic figure with the body of a male human and the head and wing of a hawk having a human face visible from the open beak, one arm raised holding twine attached to a spear; one (1) brown soapstone carving depicting a bear in mid-stride, illegible signature inscribed to underside; one (1) black soapstone carving depicting a seated figure pulling the ears of a rabbit before them, Canada Eskimo Art and numbered stickers to underside; and one (1) black soapstone carving depicting a mustached figure seated on his knees holding fur or fabric, illegible signature and 2934 inscribed and Canada Eskimo Art sticker to underside. Ranging in size from 5 5/8" H x 5 3/8" W x 4" D to 5 3/4" H x 13" W x 4 1/4" D. All items 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville, TN Collection.
CONDITION: All items in overall good condition with surface scratches and some flaws in the making.
