Continental painted classical table, black polychrome painted base with gilt scroll and swag decoration on apron and cabriole legs and polychrome floral decoration on apron, legs ending in splayed feet. Shaped white and grey marble top with canted corners. 28 1/2" H x 30 1/2" W x 21 3/4" D. Mid 19th century. Provenance: The estate of Jean A. Yeatman and Harry C. Yeatman, formerly of Hamilton Place Plantation (near Columbia, Tennessee). CONDITION: Stretchers missing. Scattered nicks along base edges. Surface grime on base. Stains to marble top.
