Two (2) Native American Paiute (Northwest Coast) Baskets. 1st item: Paiute traditional coiled willow or sumac water basket with pitch and clay coating, two loop handles, and carrying cord. 17 1/4" H. Early 20th century. 2nd item: Miniature Paiute conical form basket, 4" H. 20th century. Provenance: Nancy Walton Collection, Gatlinburg, TN. CONDITION: 1st item: Overall very good condition with light general wear. 2nd item: Very good condition.
