Equestrian themed silver trophy or presentation cup, modeled as an oversized goblet with figural horseshoe and crossed polo mallets, fronted by the bust of a horse and a fox, raised atop a ten-sided base. Austro-Hungarian fineness marks for .800 or better, 1872-1922, and maker's marks KRT, with indistinct assay marks. No presentation inscription or signs of inscription removal. 14 1/4" H. 31.540 troy ounces. CONDITION: Several tiny pinprick dents or light pitting to bowl of goblet; possible repair at base of bowl where it joins the stem.
