Sheraton mahogany Banquet Table, probably Mid Atlantic or Tennessee. Two D shaped banquet ends with curved aprons and turned tapered legs ending in ball feet, 19th century, and a later center dropleaf section with well matched turned legs. Ends measure 29 3/4" H x 50" W x 26 1/2" D; with center section added and fully extended, table length is 126 1/2". Deaccessioned by Historic Belle Meade Plantation, Nashville, TN, proceeds to benefit the restoration of the collection. Exhibited in the mansion's Dining Room for several years. Condition: Good, refinished condition with normal wear, minor stains to top.
