Carved and painted canvasback drake decoy attributed to Ned Burgess (NC, 1863-1956). Retains an older, possibly original painted surface. 8 1/2″ H x 17″ 1/4 L. 1st half 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Knoxville, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with paint wear commensurate with age and use. Old repairs to head.
