An assortment of Old Sheffield, Sterling, and Continental Silver items. 1st item: Matthew Boulton Regency Old Sheffield 2-branch candelabrum with etched hurricane shades. The candelabrum with center standard and flame finial, flanked by 2 arms or branches, gadrooned edges and acanthus leaves throughout. Double sunburst hallmarks to lower edge of the base. Includes two (2) etched glass hurricane shades. Candelabrum: 18 1/4" H x 18 1/2" W. Shades: 8 1/2" H x 5 1/2" dia. 2nd-5th items: Two (2) pairs Old Sheffield silverplated candlesticks, including one (1) pair of lobed form with engraved sunburst pattern throughout; and one (1) of square form with shell corners. Stamped P and 65 or 66 to bases. 9 1/4" H x 4 1/2" W to 12" H x 6 1/8" W. English, late 18th to early 19th century. 6th item: Webster Company 20th century sterling silver porringer, having a scrolling foliate border to rim and a pierced handle. Inscribed with script "Linda Ann" to handle. Maker's mark, Sterling, and numerals stamped to underside of handle. 1 1/5" H x 6 3/4" W. 7th item: Sterling silver miniature novelty Dutch clog or klomp. Stamped "Sterling" to underside of heel. 1 1/8" H x 3 1/8" W. 8th item: Alessandria, Italy .800 silver sugar bowl, lobed form with double C-scroll handles. Italy, .800, and additional hallmarks stamped to underside of base. 3 5/8" H x 5 1/2" W. Combined sterling silver weight: 3.320 total troy ounces. .800 silver weight: 5.345 total troy ounces.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Raymond White, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: All items in overall good condition with normal surface wear, scattered dents. 1st item: One arm is slightly bent, rendering it uneven. 2nd-5th items: Copper is showing through. Felt protector to one candlstick is partially separated from base.
