Probably European, late 18th to early 19th century. 2nd item: Small brass standing lion doorstop, 4"H x 5" L. Probably English, 19th century. 3rd item: Rare pair of Queen Anne period brass candle snuffers and stand, the snuffers with rubbed mark. 8"H overall. English, 18th century. 4th item: Brass hearth trivet, pierced horseshoe design raised on wrought iron legs and wrought iron handle. 5" H x 12 12 1/4" L. English, 19th century. 5th item: Brass ash bucket, hammered design with shaped handle. 5 3/4" H. English, 19th century. 6th item: Hearth tool comprised of a shaped stone with wrought iron cover and twisted wrought iron handle. 11" L. 19th century. Provenance: estate of Margaret Wemyss Connor, Nashville, Tennessee. Condition: 1st item: Light oxidation, wear and dents, overall very good condition. 2nd item: Overall general wear. 3rd item: Worn/misshapen spot on the finger holes.
