Pair of Rococo Revival rosewood parlor chairs, attributed to John Henry Belter (1804-1863), carved in the Rosalie with Grape pattern, laminated shield backs, carved skirt and cabriole legs, mounted with casters. Later pink damask upholstery. 36 1/2" H x 17 3/4" W x 15 1/2" D. CONDITION: One chair with small 1/2" x 2" veneer replacement and one approx. 4" veneer re-gluing to back edge. Minor chips/losses to back edge veneer of both. Minor wear/rubbing to legs of one chair.
