Late 19th/Early 20th century. 2nd item: Bradley & Hubbard Cast Iron Beetle Match Holder with old green and gilt paint and hinged top. Marked on the interior of the top "Bradley & Hubbard, Conn., West Meriden". 3 5/8" L. Provenance: the estate of Margaret Wemyss Connor, Nashville, Tennessee. Condition: 1st item: Overall very good condition with some slight loss of paint. 2nd item: Hinged top broken. Wear to gilt and green paint.
