A small Chippendale mirror, a painted Federal mirror, and a reverse painting on glass portrait of George Washington. 1st item: Small Chippendale mahogany mirror or looking glass. Scrolled crest, ears, and pendant with old silvering. 17-7/8″H x 11-1/2″W. Early 19th century. 2nd item: Federal mirror with ebonized half turnings, reverse painting on glass tablet of fruit. 19-7/8″H x 10-5/8″W. 2nd quarter of 19th century. 3rd item: Reverse painting on glass of George Washington, titled. Frame dimensions 11-1/2″h x 9-3/8″W. Early 19th century. Provenance: The estate of King E. and Julia R. Stockton, Tulsa, OK. Condition: 1st item – older refinish, uneven varnish. Several areas of flaking for silvered glass. 2nd item – scattered scratches and wear on turnings. 3rd item – reverse painting tablet broken and missing part of white margin, spotting to brown background.
