Minnie Adkins and Garland Adkins (Kentucky, 20th century) wood folk art carving of a bowing horse. Signed and dated “G & M Adkins 1996,” underside of front hooves. 18″ H x 31 1/2″ W x 3 3/4″ D. American, late 20th century. CONDITION: Overall excellent condition. Signature partially obscured by 1″ x 1″ block of wood attached to stablize carving. 4 1/2″ gap on tail original to construction of carving.
