Bernard Buffet (France, 1928-1999) chromolithograph on Arches paper titled "Le Clown Auguste" depicting an abstract bust portrait of a man attired in red patterned shirt, yellow collar, and a geometric face shape, all outlined in bold black lines on a saturated green background. Signed "Bernard Buffet" lower middle, and inscribed in pencil "117/120" lower left. Housed in a contemporary carved and painted wood frame, and mounted to a cardboard backing under plexiglass. Sight: 28 1/2" H x 20" W. Framed: 33 1/2" H x 25 1/2" W.
CONDITION: Overall excellent condition. Not examined outside of frame.
