Bill Toma (American/California, 20th century) limited edition patinated bronze sculpture titled “Stee-Rike Three” that depicts the figure “Casey at the Bat” in full swing. He wears a Mudville jersey in reference to the fictional town from Ernest Thayer’s 1888 poem “Casey at the Bat: A Ballad of the Republic, Sung in the Year 1888.” Signed “Toma”, titled, dated 1991 and numbered 20/75 on the top of the base. 24 1/4 in. H x 16 1/4 in. D x 9 in. W.
