Andrew Saftel (American/Tennessee, b. 1959) abstract mixed media collage, titled "Souvenir", comprised of multiple elements including watercolor, paper, and found objects on paper. Bird's eye view of an imagined street with a woman and child walking towards a city, with mountains in the background. Found objects such as bottle caps, box-of-matches, miniature pottery and figures, receipts, and packaging remnants and interspersed throughout the scene, with blue green wash bordering. Signed and dated "A. Saftel 2010" in margin lower right. Signed, dated, and titled, en verso. Float mounted and housed under glass in a wooden frame. Sheet: 40" H x 56 1/2" W. Framed: 46 3/4" H x 63 1/2" W.
PROVENANCE: A Nashville, Tennessee Estate.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with minor warping to paper. Not examined outside of frame.
