Sizes vary between 8 in W. x 13 in. L x 2 in. D (formula book) and 16 1/2 in W x 17 1/2 in L x 4 in. D (general ledger). Ledger books include names of founders, staff, vendors, and customers. Formula books contain compounding instructions, prescriptions, and dosages. Also includes handwritten formula for vanilla extract, dated 1881 and signed by L.A.
