Five Civil War items (possibly excavated) including two (2) Civil War Union Infantry brass belt buckles marked "US" (one with all of the hooks on the back but slight damage to the edge, the other is missing the hooks), one (1) excavated Civil War Union brass coat button, one (1) excavated Civil War Union Infantry brass eagle breastplate (missing hooks) and one (1) "Confederate memorial Institute" pin with Richmond, VA inscribed across the bottom (made inChicago). Most found at site of Battle of Peachtree Creek on family property circa 1920 in Atlanta, GA. Private Atlanta, GA collection.
