Henry Albert Botkin (New York/California, 1896-1983) watercolor on paper painting depicting a view of the island of Manhattan from Brooklyn, the Brooklyn bridge spanning the East River with several boats sailing across the water. Signed "Botkin" lower right. Inscription en verso, "Happy Holiday and much love Rhonda & Harry 1949." Housed and matted under glass in a carved wooden frame with faint gilt trim. Sight: 15" H x 18 1/2" W. Framed: 27 1/4" H x 30 1/2" W.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with toning. Scattered foxing to mat. Frame with natural age shrinkage, minor areas of loss.
