Lot of two Mother of Pearl items and cased scissors. 1st item: Palais Royal style Scissors with mother of pearl handles formed in the shape of dolphins with brass ferrules and steel blades. Condition: oxidation to blades, minor surface grime, small chips to ends of fins. 10" length. 2nd item: Mother of pearl and brass opera glasses, marked Au de Mair, Paris. One small spot of minor wear, some oxidation to brass, otherwise excellent condition. 2 3/4" H x 4" W. Both French, late 19th to early 20th century. 3rd item – Set of four nested cased scissors, all with engraved decoration and gilt wash, marked "Magnetic Cutlery Co., Inc" and " D Peres Solingen, Germany". Scissors with case measure 6" H x 2" W at widest point. Late 19th/Early 20th century.
