Staffordshire earthenware figural animal group depicting a bull being tormented by a spotted dog. Bocage background with extruded clay foliate sprigs on base. Possibly Enoch Wood. 5-1/2"H x 7"W x 3-1/2"D. English, circa 1815. Provenance: the estate of Elsie Seabrook, Tunica, Mississippi. Condition: Couple of small losses to bocage, 1/4" area of repaint to spot on bull's flank. Blacklight reveals possible restoration to dog's tail. Overall light crazing.
