Marguerite 'Gamy' Montaut (French, 1883-1936) and Ernest Montaut (French, 1879-1909) color pochoir lithograph on paper titled "Voyage de Buc a Chartres. Maurice Farman passe a Gaillardon sur aeroplane muni du moteur Renault" (Journey from Buc to Chartres. Maurice Farman goes to Gaillardon on an airplane equipped with the Renault engine), published by Mabileau and Company, Paris, 1910. Depicts Maurice Farman in an airplane, flying over a small village. Signed "Gamy" with publication information and title, in the stone, lower left. John Sharp's Antiquarian Gallery, Nashville, TN. Matted and housed under plexiglass in a gilt metal frame. Sight: 15 1/2" H x 32 1/4" W. Framed: 24 1/2" H x 40 1/4" W.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Carl Klein, Brentwood, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with waviness, light toning to sheet. Not examined outside of frame.
