1st item: Linda Jo′Povi Askan, Santa Clara Pueblo blackware pottery bowl with deeply carved Avanyu or horned serpent design with coral eye, incised signature on the base. 4″ H. 2nd item: Mata Ortiz blackware pottery seed jar by Octavio Gonzalez with stylized bird decoration around the narrow mouth. Incised signature on the base. 3 1/2″ H x 6 1/2″ W. 3rd item: Hopi Nampeyo Family spherical sgraffito pottery seed jar with figural design to one side with applied coral stone to face, on a brown glazed ground. Incised “Nampeyo” and dated ’83 on the base. 2 1/4″ H. 4th item: Native American pottery bowl with stylized black and red decoration, signed on the base “Corn Leaves” with pictorial cornstalk. 2 1/4″ H x 6 1/4″ dia. All pieces 20th century.
CONDITION: 1st item: Overall good condition. 2nd item: Overall good condition. 3rd item: Some areas of wear and scratching to brown glaze. 4th item: Scattered minor wear to rec and black slip decoration.
