Lot of 2, Mantle and French style clocks. 1st item – Black lacquer mantle clock with classical figures and columns flanking brass encased clock face. Brass works, gong chime. Marked "Made by the Sessions Clock Co. Forestville, Conn. US". Condition – Foxing on face, small losses to lacquer. Functionality not tested. 12"H X 15 1/4" W X 5 1/2" D. American. 2nd item – French style time and strike open escapement clock. Porcelain casing painted green with floral motif and gilding. Porcelain dial with two unknown jewel screws in the escapement. Marked "Rebel" on back, and "Ansonia Clock Co. New York, United States of America". Overall good condition, not tested for functionality. American. Both Late 19th or Early 20th century. Provenance: A Jamestown, Tennessee Estate.
